Isn't the majority of cali owned by SBC, with all the old GTE stuff belonging to Verizon now?

Qwest shouldn't even have any big backbone legs running through cali should they?

Nothing that would cause a network blackout like yer saying anyways.

Qwest provides some backbone stuff for places that aren't in their phone coverage area too I believe.

Yea Qwest has backbone routers all over including Burbank and Sacramento..

http://stat.qwest.net/looking_glass.html

btw SBC = Pac Bell, Southwest Bell, Ameritech, Nevada Bell .. think that covers them all

I'm able to get out from Sacramento-Cyber just fine, so I'm wondering if its between Qwest and Charter directly.. maybe Charter didn't pay their bill =p How many hops into a tracert to say yahoo.com does it die Abi?
