EA has announced that they're working hard on a new Simpsons game, described as a "16 level action-comedy". The game will be available for PS3, X360, Wii, DS and PSP. It will ridicule games like Everquest, Grand Theft Auto and Medal of Honour.
EA did not only convince the original voice actors, they also succeeded in getting the Simpsons' creative team to help with the story line.
Scot Amos, executive producer of the game, sure sounds very ambitious:
"Our goal in developing The Simpsons Game is to create the most original game ever, which is a lofty goal and only possible given the close collaboration with The Simpsons' creative team. "We're also especially proud of the game's warm visual feel, which captures - for the first time ever in a game - the look of the TV show. As Comic Book Guy says, 'Best. Simpsons Game. Ever!'"
This should be interesting. I hope game won't require purchase of new PC.
