This game gets my seal of approval
They need to make an mmo with combat like this game.
I can't imagine someone NOT loving ripping through 50 people at once.

Ya, i've been a Dynasty Warriors fanatic since DW2.
I think its pretty lame how the game critics give the series bad ratings because "nothing has changed".. well no f**k nothing has changed, if its not f*****g broken it doesn't need to be fixed. You don't see the reviewers getting p****d off at like Tekken 5 because "its still a fighting game".
Oh well, DW5 kicks complete ass. They improved so much stuff in this one, probably the most noticeable thing is the draw distance, theres barely any "fog" now. And Khrath, they are making an online DW now

Japan is going to be getting it for PC... it might make it here in that form.
Have gone through Cao Pi and Xing Cai's stories so far is all, working on Ling Tong. Cao Pi's 5 hitter is just nasty though for a combo.
And what they should do for an online version is have you start out as a little private and work your way up in the ranks n stuff.

Im fairly positive the online version would come to America, it's almost more popular here then it is in Japan.

If you like Cao Pi, you should really try the dude with the leather mask, forget name, he has a double blade also, but has an on the ground spin move he does with it, almost break dancing type shit, it f***s peoples worlds up.

I like these games, but I sweat too hard when playing them, so now I just play Dynasty Tactics and Romance of the Three Kingdoms =(

The last DW was lame. But if you're into mindless button mashing, gratz on yet another identical sequel...

Is it for xbox? I'll rent it and put it on my xbox with the other Dynasty Warriors.

I like them, because you can make your own generals and rulers. They aren't very tough games unless you start in later scenarios. I'd definitely pick up Romance 9 or 10 if you see it cheap (PS2)

Hmm...Once I get some free time, I'll check them out. For now I'm obsessed (and furious) with Ninja Gaiden.
