No, it's not another raid call thread… I'm more interested in the back story of the game right now: As I understand, the giants of old were not the same giants that you meet in the game today, they were actually god-like titans (who later fell from grace), right? So, is the "warforged titan" name a direct reference to them, and are the ordinary warforged then related just to the "common" giants, or what?

The short answer would be no. In pen & paper Eberron, the warforged titan has very little to do with the giants of Xen'drik, it's just a "golem" made on Khorvaire during the Last War before they figured out how to make real, sentient warforged. But all warforged, including the titan, were made using some design plans scavenged form the giant ruins of Xen'drik, so there is some connection.
