In this online version of the D&D online world you will be welcomed by five races from the start, apparently one – Drow, the sixth, you have to reach by long time playing the game and some good score. They will embrace you with all their good strong sides and weaknesses on the other side: Dwarves, Elves, Humans, Halflings, Warforged. Dwarves are very clever and skilled and ready for war games and capable to put the resistance to a physical and magical punishment, not taking their four feet height as a disability for defeating the enemy cause they are usually compensating that with the their weight that is sometimes equal to a human one. Living inside the space they carved in the mountains and famous by ability to produce marvelous treasures that they can offer for trading. Elves are very much enjoying practicing joyful of live, full of music, poetry, dance and art. But don’t let they fool you with that almost hippie style of living or their cheerful attitude because they for sure are well introduced with the weapons(all studying arts of archery and swordplay) and war strategy, getting bonus feat Martial Weapon Proficiency with the longsword, longbow, shortbow and rapier. Humans are most flexible and adaptable race among this five, capable to quickly master of specialized tasks, not getting penalties nor bonuses for their abilities. Warforged are born with as a blank board with basic facts of the world attached to them but as natural born soldiers who are having hunger for getting the knowledge and develop their selves, being capable to learn to adapt just in few months. The fact that he can be healed only with arcane Repair spells is compensated with having his body all covered by plating that is giving him effect of “naturally attached armor” and AC bonus which also can be upgraded using the Adamantine Body and Mithral Body features. By using the docents they can change and improve their appearance. Halflings could be used instead cat in the common saying “curiosity killed the cat” case they for sure are sharing that characteristic with cats with one difference they are up to dare, not can’t scare them that easily like cats. Fact that they are only three feet tall can easily make you blind not seeing how clever and capable survivors they are, but because that small size they are receiving Strength penalty -2, grants +1AC and +1 on hit. Drow is the one that is added recently even though that it suppose to be there from the beginning as original part of the story about Eberron as special kind of the elves that are magnetic, clever and in a way delicate according to their body built. Living in danger that is stationed in their homeland they became adventurers and soldiers more out of necessity. But there are many of them that are chasing adventure out of personal ambition and seeking led by their desire for personal power armed with shortsword, rapier and shuriken. Resistant to some spells specially those with sleeping effect But to drag Drow into the game you need to collect some amount of points reach the level find and unlock it. People think that this decision of the maker is just attempt to hook gamers even more to the game so they can earn more, although somehow I think they just irritated them with this move. I don’t think their expansion pack tactic is working as well as they wanted to work!
