Anyone using two monitors on one system? What are the advantages of such a setup?

Besides the quite obvious double working area, I couldn't really say.

For Photoshop, the ability to put the tool palettes on the other screen, not on top of the image you're working on, is killer. For programming it's good for comparing two files or copy/paste. The downside is that most games don't handle it well, usually rendering the 2nd screen useless.

I use a dual monitor system for photo editing.. my main 21" is where I place the actual photograph, and I have a 17" on the left that I move all the pallets to.
I suppose you could always use it for other thinks like watching movies and playing games while still having say a chat window up, but I haven't bothered with that.

I keep system logs and stats scrolling in the other window.
