I just set up a picture with hot spots that link to other documents BUT I don't want the url to show in the bottom left in the browser when I rollover.

How can I rename the url to a natural description so when I roll over the message says:

This will take you to the new site

instead of

http://www.thenew_site.com/

thanks

write some javascript define the imagemap as usual and use onmoouseover to call the javascript with whatever you want in the bottom whatever of the browser

http://www.msu.edu/~gurtzwei/test.html

doesnt work with IR 6.0 tho, but a real browser like mozilla suports it (AS IT SHOULD) just fine.
