I was with TrueParadox and 5 of his buddies. We wiped out to some assorted yard trash on Endor. No big deal.

Anyway, we go back to a safe spot, set up camp and then 45 minutes later were still healing wounds.

Is this typical?

It was my first full group experience. Typically I go 2 or 3 people at a time.

I don't have any downtime when I solo, but I'm not talkin about soloing. Mad

Talkin about after a group wipes out and everyone staggers out of the cloning chambers.

go to the cantina first battle fatigue lessens amount of wounds healed.... i never have much downtime heal for 200ish /shrug

god elavis, everyone should have medical skills, theres no reason not to have at least enough to make stimpack A's, and cure your health and action wounds.....thats like 17 points

17 More points than most can afford, I know I'll be strapped for points as it is. Groups usually don't have that much downtime unless people don't store their clone info at the nearest cloning facility. That's why everyone was so wounded, other wise it would have been fast healing then back to killing.

I really don't see the point of spending even 1 hour doing something I'm going to surrender (delete) later.

Still leaves the problem that there are not enough skill points for what my character does. He just won't be able to heal, that's all. After completing expert/master in all the skills he's going for, he'll have 0 left over. Confused

Yeah... I learned the hard way about surrendering skills. Went up to Master Artisan/Merchant/Droid Engineer and dropped them all because Droid Engineer is broken, Merchant is pretty useless for what I need, and well..> Master artisan is only useful if you plan to actually craft things... which without DE, I don't plan to. But now I'm pretty happy to have Smuggler (always had), Creature Handler, and Pistoleer.

If you have the points to invest whats the issue about meding yourself in the meantime? It's not like the points are getting spent, just shuffled. Besides it gives you something to do other than stareing at the bars move.

Medic, dancer, camper basics will make you a valuable asset while you work up the other lines. What's the drawback other than laziness? Not to say you are lazy but what is stopping you?

For some reason I thought I had to have Artisan skills to create camps from the generic crafting tool. Thanks for the advice TP.

Now I dropped artisan and am currently enjoying being told that I can't heal peoples wounds in a cantina, but if I would gladly walk 2 miles into the woods and put a tarp and stick in the ground, I would most certainly be able to heal the wounds there.

Get yourself a 50 cent medical droid to follow you around, that will fix that. Though you will need to harvest materials (or buy them off your local smuggler) to make the meds you need.
