Bush is coming here tomorrow! Who would have thought he even knew where Downingtown was? (well, he probably doesnt, but thats irrelevant). My little rich snobby insignificant suburb has become significant for once!

Oh well, i thought that was cool... i almost got tickets, but i asked the teacher a day late (plus you have to get there 4 hours before he actually speaks.. which would suck). Its kinda funny though.. i have a ton of friends volunteering/attending and on the other hand i know people who are going to protest outside (and probably get arrested).

Oh, also... even better- there's a rumor going around (that was not entirely confirmed but implied to be true by the philly campaign manager) that Clinton will be in Philly in a week or twoish. Edwards was in my county yesterday, Clark will be here tomorrow, and Teresa is a county away tomorrow. Sometimes its nice being an "important" state Smile... until i turn on the tv, haha.

Sorry, im just happy because i heard Downingtown on the news... fun stuff.

My sons school took a bunch of kids when Bush breezed through our area a couple weeks back. I thought that was pretty damn cool that he got to see a sitting US President in person (regardless of political pursuasion - I would have thought it would be cool if he had seen Clinton as well). He thought Bush was funny, go figure.
