Hello,
We sincerely apologize again for the problems caused in response to Wednesday’s update. We do understand that many characters were rolled back due to actions beyond their control along with those that took direct advantage of the situation. We also understand that many other players that were not rolled back were also affected in indirect ways. This weekend we will be offering double experience to all players. This will require us to take down the servers early tomorrow morning and they should be up and offering the modified experience at 9am PST. This event will run until Monday morning at 10am PST. Once again please accept our apologies for any interruptions this has caused in your playtime.

Lol, if I didn't cost me $15 to re-activate I'd load up teh bard and see how long it took them to catch me macroing.
Either he'd be banned or have 800aa

looks like my brothers account will hit 70 this weekend heh, soloing in mpg I can do an aa every 10 min consistantly with double exp going, wu wu.

if you paid the $15 to reactivate there's no way they'd ban you, because they might get another month out of you!

Some tradeskill merchants from the PoR beta were put onto the live servers. Lots of items super cheap, and insta 300 skill from talking to them.
So, they were removed, and SOE said they were going to be doing rollbacks of anyone that took advantage of it.
But, what was rolled back was most (not all) that took advantage, a lot that bought from those people, many that sold unrelated items to those people, and even people that had plat go back and forth between people in any of those cases. Like a large guilty by association sweep.
Even someone thought they found a good deal on a stat food from a merchant, bought a bunch, and sold them to the merchant in their guild hall. Hall poofs when its inactive for a while. They couldn't trace what happened to those items. Entire guild was rolled back.
Not only were people with no idea what was going on were losing exp, and items, a few lost entire characters, with no idea how.
Someone makes a new character, pl'd it to 14 with 60k in baz gear. Poof character gone, and out 60k.
SoE's big "We are sorry" is a double exp weekend.
