Uninstall... overhyped. Did you install SP2? I heard that f****d up Doom 3. I think updating your video drivers will fix it. Play for 20 minutes and then uninstall.

Mine works just fine. You have too much computer shit, exchange your video card with mine and you'll be able to run it. I promise.

Ok, can't really find any solutions to your exact problem but I can make a few suggestions.
1) Doom3 doesn't like overclocked systems very well. If you have anything overclocked try putting it back at its stock speed. Also make sure nothing is overheating.
2) Go into your Doom3 directory and look for the doomconfig.cfg file. Make a copy of it someplace then delete the orignal. Restart Doom3 and it should make a new fresh one. That could solve a few problems.
3) If that doesn't do anything, go back to that doomconfig.cfg file and insert these lines into it.
seta image_useCache "1"
seta image_cacheMegs "256"
seta image_cacheMinK "20480"
4) If that doesn't help try going back to a older set of ATi drivers. The 4.8 Cats are good.
Other then that make sure the rest of your drivers for your computer are updated aswell. Nvidia just released their 5.10 WHQL Motherboard Nforce drivers, try them out. They could solve some problems aswell.
