If by Dnb you mean "drum and bass," I'm not sure I want to any more. I turned on ShoutCast and checked out 4 or 5 alleged "drum and bass" streams but all I got was 240bpm synthesized acid b******t.
I was kinda hoping for something like Primus without their annoying singer and s****y lyrics.

jungle is like dub on speed.
dnb is like jungle, minus the dub, with more complex drumming.
/me waits for the "what is dub?"

dub was origionally reggae b-sides. The reggae guys would get into their minimal sound studios and remix their songs into mostly intrumental versions, using lots of tape delay and whatever other tricks they could do. "Burning Spear" has some great traditional dub albums.
fast forward to the 90's, and the increasing popularity of electronic music. The electronic guys learned a lot from the old dub albums, big delays, heavy reggae basslines, samples..etc, but started to take the drumming different directions. this is whats commenly refered to as dub now a days. get on soulseek and look for an album called "macro dub infection" for a great example.
jungle still has some reggae roots, drum and bass pretty much does away with all of it.

mainly because im thinking about it....
dnb really came more from breakbeat than jungle.
there were two main ways to write electronic percussion, step sequencing, and sampling. Step sequencing was somewhat limited in what it can do having only 16 steps in which to place drum hits. Most house, trance, and pop (old madonna, etc) all used step sequencing (ie drum machines).
when samplers came out, people started sampling real drummers, then cutting up the samples and restructuring the beats. This can give a more realistic sound since the drums came from a real drummer, but also has its limitations.
A lot of electronic artists started going through old funk albums, james brown..etc, finding samples of drums where the rest of the band wasnt playing. Funk was always known for having some of the most complex, funky, drumming. This lead to people sampling the "breaks", spots between two musical passages where the drummer was soloing.
People would sample a break, and make that the basis for their entire drum track.
do a search for "amen break". you will find it on a million web pages, and you will probably recognise the drum pattern. Its been used so many many times.
dnb really came from people minutly cutting up the breaks into individual drum hits, allowing the tempo of the break to be spead up to match, and surpass that of jungle.
a great example, on of my favorites, of dnb is "squarepusher: _Feed_Me_Weird_Things_"

I listen to all these genres, mainly. :p
Drum and Bass and Jungle being my fav's for pure adrenaline and speed, and House is good for the dance scene for shizzo. Of course I'm not that great of a dancer so house isn't really my "thang."
I make a lot of DnB and some Jungle with Reason atm, some of the stuff I've been working on is finally coming to fruition! Soon i'll be catering to the DJ..
Goa is ok but waaay to out there with the crazyness when I'm sober.. maybe while intoxicated.. too many pretty sounds to appreciate all at once when I'm sober..
