I have some thoughts regarding Star Trek Online I want to ask you about them and to share them. Does this game need guilds? I mean, are they really necessary for day to day playing? Guilds are great addition to other MMO games, and with them, they have some meaning. Nevertheless, I do not see how they can improve the Star Trek Online game play. This game must be as best as it can, so it can be competitive.

I must agree with you to some content. This game must be the best on the market, so it can compete with many other big names in MMORPG segment. However, one of the points of MMO games is to make friends and to join some group to play, that way the game can be easier and the game play much better. For that reason, I think there are going to be some kind of guilds in Star Trek Online, with some kind of federation or alliance. That way, the players can create a group and play that way.

I'm sure their will be guild, especially if STO has a RP server. One of the things im looking forward to when this game comes out is to have fleet warfare.
