Browsing several websites I found a lot of useful info for froobs in Anarchy Online, however I am not sure if froob can get any of those city bonuses and benefits. There was some opposite claims about this on some of the sites I visited. I even read that this would be introduced in some future patch?

No, there are no city benefits or bonuses for froob players, and I dont think there will be any. However froobs can get Org contract bonus, of course considering your org has tower fields. In my opinion, froob option isnt so bad in AO, it is playable, comparing to froob development in some other MMORPG games.

Yep, if your froob being in an organization with a city has basically 0 beneficial value to you; the only exception is that you may be able to attend a ground raid and leech any weapons/bio-materials to sell etc.

As a Froob you will never get any bonuses from any of the expansions unfortunately.
I would recommend you go to the main AO Froob community and look at some of the posts there.
