Hello! Due to the system crash I had to reinstall Windows. And everything else with it. So Guild Wars. However, I cant start it at all I keep getting Directx error. Unable to initialize 3D output. Please verify that you have installed DirectX 8 and an updated video driver however this is ridiculous because I have Directx 9.0C with XP SP2. What should I do?

Yup, theres a bug of that kind. You need to reinstall DirectX, once I had to do it three or four times before Guild Wars recognized the version normally. Also, you can try downgrading to DirectX 8, go to oldversion.com and download old version of directx. Another thing to check are your graphics card drivers the latest ones?
