Is it worth getting?

ive been using dx 9.0a since it was in beta. i havent had any real problems with it. but i see little to no difference. i think dx9 is more for future video cards and applications

i dont really care about increased performance
as far as ive heard DX9 is really for the new nvidia / ati cards coming out to support features they possess .. (and plus there are no games out there that use it)
but has anyone had any cases where they had decreased performance with DX9 over DX8 ?

I installed it, and couldn't tell any difference. No faster, no slower, everything the same.

me neither. Doesnt matter unless you have a top end card with the newest in software demos.
