Then he tells me he has been scammed before and he will change my email address first, so he asks for my email address to change it. He then posts the Blizzard confirmation email and says he clicked it. He tells me the password only, and not the account, then asks that I change my emial to his.Then:
Death Oppressor: we should do this over the hpone

Dimask8er: phoneline busted
I tell him I wont change my email to his because he refused to meet me in game and I wanted to make sure it was his account. I refresh armory and see that his buffs have changed (He logged out) and tell him that. He turns the tides and insults me, and saying he is mad because someone is playing his account (lol).
Death Oppressor: if you changed the email info you will have to change it back
Death Oppressor: so you have to go to retrieve password and type in your info

Even if he did click the email confirmation link, all he had to do is fill out the change email, and I told him I would click the link. Obviously he did not click the link because who wouldn't get thier email address re-registered? I can have his mail?- makes no sense, not a very smart scammer. I realised the trade was very unconventional and I shouldn't have even tried to go through with it. I should have stopped when he said he couldnt show me in game, but I realise now I was just eager to get what I wanted. He used a BE Mage named Magic from Daggerspine, but that's probably not his toon, thus I didn't put it in the title to discredit him. I know I should not have tried to trade, but does anyone see what I could have done better, to avoid future scammers?
