I can say that you are going to have much fun if you start to play Lineage 2. There are many differences between the original game and the chronicles. The main one is the new quests and new inventory items. As in every expansion for any game, the developers include new quests for player to finish and to enjoy. In addition, beside them, there are the new items you can have and use. They can be weapons, armors or any other item. Of course, there are many patches included that solve the small problems which can occur within the game itself. You can see that chronicles are important part of Lineage 2.
