I am one of those players you are mentioning. I got bored with EverQuest 2. The quests are lacking originality and the story line is very faint. I am very disappointed with the game, so I choose another one. The result was I picked Vanguard, and I never looked back. Never had I thought that I made a mistake. This game is far better for me and I will always tell only the good words for Vanguard. If you do not want to leave or abandon EverQuest 2, it is your choice. I did just that, and I am very happy now.
