Posted: 08/09/05 - 20:04 Post subject: Decent video editing software?
|
|
|
Why lie, it's for my porn. About half the clips I've gotten from empornium are either split into small 5 - 25mb segments which is annoying as f**k to try and watch. Who wants to click on the next file every 1min 13sec?
I've also grabbed a couple of 700 - 4gb movies that really 90% of them aren't worth a shit and I'd like to just snip out parts.
Any recommendations on some decent video editing software to both compile all the small ones into a larger movie, as well as extract a selected timeframe from 1 large file and export it to it's own smaller file?

Would it be a safe assumption premier would also be a good choice if you want to extract certain segments?

i can never get into Premier, everytime i do start seeming like work
the shear amount of stuff you can do, maybe just make my little projects more complex than they should be.
i often just use Pinnacle Studio 9, video editing for dummies

Premiere is by far my favorite for easy and simple editing such as taking out parts and combining clips and shit. It is also nice for messing with audio, and stuff

I dunno, the transitions were annoying and I couldn't seem to get a 3 minute movie under like 20 megs regardless of the codec or quality settings.
