I picked up Face and this was my first book from him i am reading. So far its good and i like his writing style. Can someone that has read his other stuff recommend one of his better books next?

I actually like this book so far, as far as being a hack that may be but that is why i was asking here what else he wrote was good.

phantoms was a good read, and one of the last books i ever read. ben aflec did a s****y job in the movie version.

Koontz is always good for a mindless page turner. The last book I read by him was 'Intensity'. I read it start to finish in one night. If you're looking for some suspense and don't require complex or original characters or some deep philosophical meaning then he's a good choice.

The Face was a *GREAT* book.
Watchers again, another great one. That was the first I ever picked up from him.
The Door to December was good also.
Phantoms was decent, but they made some shit horrible movie about it. So that may give it bad press. I just finished his latest one, "The Taking", and... I didn't like it. But Odd Thomas was a cute story. Surreal but good none the less.
You could grab damn near anything he's written and enjoy it.
Oh, another favorite of mine from him is "False Memory". I really like psychological books, and this one messes with your head.

yea watchers was the first koontz i read also. another one i liked was the servants of twlight. i use to read only koontz, then i read a lot of sidney sheldon (you should check his books out if you haven't read any), then i got into a series called the sword of truth, which was one of those fantasy series

i liked the whole watchers, fear nothing, seize the night thing, those ones relaly interested me... his stories are different, in a sense of normal everyday people in twisted sick f'ed up sitches and such..
the biggest thing that i dont like about them... the happy ending.. all the time the happy ending... just once id like him to right something more ... real.
btw i really liked whispers an mr murder as well.
i have dragons tears on a shelf waiting to be read but first i want to finish this weird clive barker one im currently trying to dive into *its really... different though an im actually finding im having a hard time getting into it atm*. /shrug

I actually read Mr. Murder out loud to a friend I was rooming with. I don't know why I did, or that he was even listening. But as we got to the end, he's like "Wait, read that again"
I laughed and realized that I was reading it outloud and like.. felt really gay.
Dragon Tears was decent also. Oh, how they love elvis.
His books seem to have a theme. A way that the main character relates to everyone else. Be it... music or literature. At least in a lot of his books they do that sort of thing.

well watchers, fear nothing, and seize the night all *tie* together i suggest ya give em a read in the order i just listed.
i think htey were koontzs best works personally *not that ive read them all, but i have read a good many*.

In reading i am normally used to read sci fi stuff that was fantasy based.
What are some other good authors you like and name a few books if you can and a little what they are about.
