trillian logs everything from anyone you talked to, but only for like 50 lines, then it just deletes the old ones to make room for the new ones, i'm sure thats just to save space, but it can probably be modified

dead aim is the best by far, just go on kazaa and d/l it, can get the updated one without paying

if you get "Aim-clone" it saves every single message sent to you and you sent, and i mean like even if u say 1 word and they say nothing ti still saves it

my copy of Trillian doesn't delete anything unless i tell it to.
