So anyway, say I was accidently deleted a partition...
I used to have a prog to recovery this type of crap, but afraid it's on the parition I deleted! 
Anyone have a name and serial I can grab of the software?

if it was linux you could just remake the partition on the same spot and it would all be there.
That's what we used to do back in college when the idiot sysadmins removed our linux paritions and made em back into windoze

hrmmm. would knoppix work if you repartition it as a fat or ntfs? /shrug
