|
|
|
Anyone know if DVD players play Mpeg videos burned on a CD?
If so.. does it require a program / format to burn it onto a CD or can i just burn it on the CD??
Cause I have some nice quality movies under 700 mb that can fit on CD.

Well i encoded it and came out to 1 GB.
so what the f**k...im assuming you can't play movies on a regular CD? You'll need a blank DVD and DVD burner?

almost every new movie released on suprnova has a VCD version available. almost every movie on suprnova has a 700 MB version with XVID or DIVX which new DVD players will play. failing to see the problem.
basically any new movie will work on almost any dvd player
and any movie period will work on the new dvd players
all with just CDs

I just burned a movie onto a CD in that format and my dvd player failed to play... this is a newer dvd player as well... not even a year old.
But I just burned the movie onto a CD standard way meaning like a data CD... I didn't mount any image... because with nero... it encodes it to VCD which compiles into a GB...

if u just copying straight mpeg files then it will take multiple CDs for most movies to fit

For watching downloaded movies on your TV there's only one real answer:
<img src="http://www.particles.org/xbox/xbox.jpg">
Also there is a mod in development that will make an Xbox wipe your ass for you.

i agree. i watch each and every DLd movie on my xbox. it's replaced my dvd players completely. I'm thinking of buying 1 or 2 more if they come down in price for other TVs
