What DSL isp's does everyone use and what have your experiences been? I bought a new house and unfortunately the cable modem service in this area is SHIT compared to what i had in my old apartment (30% packet loss on average from 5pm-1am gg overloaded pop's). So I am looking into DSL but with so many choices and many places locking you into a 6 month to 1 year deal i want some background before i sign. I checked on www.dslreports.com and I have many providors to choose from so any experiences would be great.

Speakeasy is offering 6mb DSL at a reasonable price. Verizon is comming out with Fibros, they're claiming 15mb download, 2mb upload for $40 a month, but it's only in selected area's.

I work for Newedge Networks http://www.transedge.com is the ISP side of things...
*ninja edit*
Don't pre-qual through the website otherwise one of the sales helmets will call you. Just lemme know if you're interested and I'll do a prequal on the internal website =)

Speakeasy is the best isp for your money.
Fast tech Support, good speeds, no caps or limits, and max speed 6000/768 and 1 out of 4 choices on package.

verizon is only dsl i can get here
currently it is $32 a month with like $4 tax
if i get the all in long distance plan it drops to $29 something
i am not really that close to the relay (or whatever the place is called)
when i first got it i was only at 750, but a while back that opened it
up and i can get like something rated around 1400.
according to dslreports someone in my zip code gets 3000
anyway,
service has been very good over that last couple of years, only
just a few bad days.
newsgroup retention is pretty good to
btw, when i signed up, there was nothing saying anything about 6/12 month
plan. but when going through my paperwork, found a note saying
if i didn;t keep it for a year would have to return my moden or pay $99.
now i think they went to 6/12 month plans with cancell fines

evo they pre-qualed you with either covad or new edge. We're the only 2 companies that offer SDSL that I'm aware of. And yes we're both f*****g expensive but its because its considered a business class service. PM your number and I'll find out if you can get ADSL.
