Not sure what all songs are new or not, but it's not too bad. I like the song collection on this more than DDRMAX2, but DDRMAX2's song line up kind of, uh, sucked.

And it's definitely not worth buying an EyeToy for or anything, but if you own one (and why that'd be is anyone's guess) I guess it couldn't hurt.

I just like the fact Duran Duran and Kim Wilde are on this. The Naoki "Can't Stop Falling in Love" speed remix is pretty good, too.

What do you use the EyeToy for?

I always see retards playing with the EyeToy when I shop for games at Fry's. Some silly game where you have to touch a bunch of falling leaves or some shit.

I've had the neverending story song stuck in my head because of this game. Sad
The eye toy you use just like you would normally, you play DDR while also using your hands...not worth buying the eye toy at all. Its mostly mini-games that use the toy and you cant use it while in game mode.

I wish it was the original Neverending Story. But, whatever, I still dance to it. Wink

Seriously Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran-- they get my heart!

I'd rather not waste copious amounts of money to humiliate myself in public.

It's cheap, and I don't see what's humiliating. I've had people give me mone randomly from playing.

Once I afford myself a hard pad, I'll begin to think about hitting arcades. Right now I've been playing a little over two months, so I'm just starting to get the hang of some songs on heavy (but f*****g barely). And the move from soft pad to hard surface will probably make the pressure exerted a lot different.

Hell, if I wind up in an arcade I'll give it a shot. But I'm sure the difference between the pressure needed to hit steps on soft pads is virtually greek to that on an actual DDR machine.

I like the fact I can get an aerobatic work out while playing a video game in the comfort of my own home. If I were to join a gym it'd cost far more than buying a game or two here and there. Replacing broken mats would be a different story, though. Regardless, if I were to join a gym I'd be working on my arms, not an aerobatic cardiovascular work out, which, for Christ's sake, is wonderful for the heart. Hell, my calve muscles are coming back from my baseball days as well.

I have custom built pads if you want to buy them I'll sell both for $60.

You won't find a better pad that isnt built out of steel.
