Hi there people! Could someone please explain me the crafting system in Lord of the rings online and its similarities with crafting systems in some other MMORPGs, World of Warcraft, for example? I’ve heard there are a lot of similarities with crafting in Everquest II, so what are those? Thanks for your responses.

There are similarities between crafting systems in Lotr online and Everquest. The complexity of collecting the materials from the combat zone, taking them to crafting stations and producint the item wanted. Despite the selection of being adventurer or crafter, all crafters will be adventurers eventually. This is because crafting resources are spread all over Middle Earth.
