The last website I had been used www.btefnet.net isn't loading so I can only assume the worst. After tvtorrents was shut down, I began using btefnet, but if it was taken down too, then a part of me will forever be lost. Please hepl!

that was my primary source for SG-1 ...i hate america 
Guess i'll have to resort to leaving a PC here when i move back to europe and taping shows as they air.
On the bright side, 100% better quality then download

eh? why?
I would download shows with commercials if the network put them on the internet. They could even stream them.
Why haven't they done something like this? Seriously, they could even put old shows in there with advertising in them, or maybe charge a nominal fee for watching rights.

first reason is f****t children who think they're cool
all they're doing is choking up my gaming bandwith(til the net2 is out)
second reason is f****t children who put extra shit out there, like virus shit
third reason is f****t children who put s****y quality stuff up..granted there are exceptions, but i'm just making a point that you have to weed thru shit that was uploaded after being recorded from a set that uses antenas.f**k that.
fourth reason is f****t children who are too poor to buy shit..sure, buying stuff sucks, but for some things it's the only indication that something is popular and worth bringing back..i.e. Family Guy
that's just a few, and far from complete, as I can apply these few to simply replace f****t children with f****t young adults in their low to mid 20s.

See, i downloaded the whole SG-1 series season 1-9, but, after it became AVAILABLE i bought them all..
The problem i have is in europe, shows either dont air, air years later or air in the wrong order and not completely..
THAT is why i download. to see the one show i missed or cant get.
HAving to wait 1-2 years, or in the case of SG-1 almost 3 years for DVDs for that 1 show you missed is stupid
And trust me...i aint to poor to buy a 25$ dvd

it's only 50 bucks for the whole season sir
and i downloaded Invader Zim...s****y quality, but it was all I could get
then the DVDs came out, and I happily own them all now

I quit downloading TV shows because site after site kept getting shut down and I got tired of hunting them down. I see no problem in downloading them and would love to do so. I just got tired of chasing the torrents. I fully intend to buy the Lost DVD set when it comes out but for the time being I would like to be able to download the shows so I can watch them.

There shouldn't be a problem with downloading TV shows, hell I would download them with commercials if necessary. Theres also a big difference between downloading a show before and after it becomes aviable to buy, but even then simply downloading a TV show isn't like you're ripping the DVD's and getting them essentially for free.
