I loved Lord of the Rings movies but I have to say I didn’t read the book – I’m a bit lazy when it comes to reading. Anyway, what interests me right now is will there be an option to play an evil character in Lord of the Rings Online? I’ve always been a bad guy in other games I played and I think I’d like to play one in Lord of the Rings too.

That doesn’t have a lot of logic to it you know. As you could have seen it in the movie, you don’t have a lot of bad characters who are not just mindless orcs. I suppose you also can conclude that it won’t be normal if you could play Saruman. The developers have said that a long time ago: there will be no evil player characters. Sorry but you should perhaps play some other game.
