Well, if you have been away for a few years, you certainly have a lot to do if you decide to play again. Since the addition of heroic instances, and collection content, its easy to find something to do while also grouping with, and meeting people. Can be a blessing and a curse at the same time
They also added the watered down Pethandler again, as a side bar expertise thing. So not a class in its own right.
You really can get an exellent idea of whats currently going on by going to the swg website, If you browse the galaxies it will also give you a general idea what forums are active and which are more slow moving > hint to population. Bloodfin is quite active, along with a couple of other servers.
