I would have expected it from any liberal but from Ann Coulter & George Will? WTF

This one in particular is a gem, never heard this from a conservative
:
Quote:
He has neither the inclination nor the ability to make sophisticated judgments about competing approaches to construing the Constitution. Few presidents acquire such abilities in the course of their pre-presidential careers, and this president particularly is not disposed to such reflections.

I heard her & James Carville on Sean Hannity's radio show & Coulter had nothing to debate Carville on, she agreed with everything he said.

This guy is not acting like the president I expected him to be. He won't veto the out of controll highway bill but will veto a bill about prisoner treatment??

Ann Coulter is a c**t so I don't care what she says, but yeah, GWB is not a good conservative. He took the tax cuts from the conservatives but then showed all the restraint of a full-blown big-government liberal when it came to spending. Throw in a war and a huge hurricane and the government's budget is in pretty bad shape atm.

gw is one of the worst conservatives ever, and the worst conservative president we could have. But its not just him. The entire rebulican party has gone apeshit. They are going to loose control and become the minority as they so deserve to.

And im not saying this as a democrat not liking rebulicans, im saying this as a fiscal conservative who had hoped that the rebulicans would act a little differently then democrats once in power. They do, they spend even more.

1st of all I don't understand what the f**k is going in Cethans avatar but it kinda looks like the guy in the red shorts is knocking out the other guy with his b***r or something...

2ndly, GW is just a bad president period. Conservative / Liberal whatever label you want to put on it, he was dishonest with the American people on several occasions and everyone now knows it. The GOP is likely taking this opportunity near the end of his term to distance themselves from his sinking ship. He's got a mess in Iraq, a swamp in the South, several of his buddies under investigation, and some dead soldier's mom following him around with a bunch of hippies. The guy does not have good odds of finishing on top. Maybe he'll get lucky and catch Osama before 2008, but even then he'll still be remembered for all the bumbling lies he's pawned off trying to keep his adminstration afloat.

It's funny to see his own turn against him but at least they have the sense to finally speak on their own viewpoints instead of blinding supporting partisan opinion like some have been for the past 5 years.

Can't say I disagree with this, but i don't think the Republicans are going out, and if they do I don't think the democrats would be an improvement by any means.

What Lotek said...

As a libertarian who votes Republican I am beginning to loathe Bush. Granted he is still better than Kerry and always will be, I would never wish the election had gone otherwise. That said, he spends like a f*****g Democrat, is too morally uptight, and has BLOWN THE SUPREME COURT APPOINTMENTS.

The federal judiciary is the last bastion of power for liberals. They cannot get their socialist fantasies enacted as legislation because the people will never stand for it. So they sue and get activist liberal judges to legalize things and create new rights.

Public policy is supposed to come from the Legislature - BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE - not appointed, unaccountable judges. As an example, I am pro-abortion, but Roe v Wade was a horrible decision. A monumental social policy change like that should never be dictated by a court, it should be passed by the representatives of the people.

All Bush did by nominating Roberts and Mierers is define the middle towards the left and ensure that a true legal conservative/originalist in the Federalist society mold will never be able to be appointed. Clinton can appoint ACLU leftist radicals like Bader-Ginsberg and have them confirmed with 95+ votes, but the Republicans will never get another Scalia on the bench.

f**k you George Bush, and all your Texas cronies too.

Appointing an unknown to the Supreme Court, expanding government like a liberal, and not securing the borders. It seems like he's done a 180 compared to his first term.

What's worse is he may cost his party their Senate majority.

Honestly, what in the hell were Republicans thinking when they voted for that clown in the primaries? He never was, and never will be, one of the more qualified members of the GOP.
