I downloaded a bittorent file, and I had problems connecting to the tracker, but the file it started downloading is still on my desktop, whenever I try to delete it, it says the file is in use. I've tried ctrl+alt+delete and looked in my applications and no program related to what I was downloading was being used, I've also tried restarting, none of this is working, anyone know of any other ways I can delete this?

Bump. It is not an installed program so I can't add or remove it through the add or remove programs option, its basically just an icon, but I think its fekking up my Bittorent downloads which is why I must delete it, I don't really want to reformat my computer just because of 1 icon that I can't delete.

if you restart, you should be able to delete the file. have you tried restarting yet? what else have you tried?

restart in safe mode, delete... done!

He tried filling the cd tray with jam. Then he tried to pretend it was a ham sandwich. Then he tried to be kind to animals... none seemed to help.
