Usually PlanetSide crashes, my computer freezes up completely.. cant Ctrl Alt Delete, or Alt Tab out or anything like that, so I just do a soft boot or whatnot and turn it back on..
Well now before my little black Windows logo appears on startup, my screen stays black and a little underscore blinks in the top left corner for ~15 seconds; this basically doubles my startup times for Windows.
Ive defragged and virus scanned and all that jibbah jabbah, but cant revert it back to before I 'incorrectly' shut the computer down after the PS crash..
Any help

the support folks say to run the full scan option too
prolly should reinstall your vid and sound drivers while you're at it, wouldn't hurt to reinstall directx as well

Damn guess it sucks, o well  youd think with verants experience, sony could get some tips on how to make a game compelling.
