 fun fun! when i worked graveyard shift at a gas bar for a while i bought a radioshack stack challange game to keep me preoccupied (and awake) during the boring times. i took it back two days later cause i beat the game  it only had 100 lvls and compared to tetris it sucked.
i <3'ed playing tetris for a very long time.

I don't understand how he chose where to put them. Assuming he didn't cheat - where is the display on-screen where he chose what slot and rotation to stick the next block into?
Impressive as hell - he would make quite a good software developer as long as i was his manager.

actually, thats not much faster than i used to be in all honosty
but then again, this was in highschool, and i played tetris on my TI-86 probably 4-5 hours a day, for pretty much the entire school year.
once you get the feel of it, youll have the motions required to align the piece where you need it immediately after it pops up.
the video itself is sped up though,b ecuase you can see him sliding pieces sidewise at some points, which, in a dead vert drop like its showing, isnt possible.
oh well 
also, his block placement sucks all kinds of ass. that, more than anything else, leads me to believe its fake as hell. anyone who was that good, would know howto place their blocks a lot f*****g better than he does.

Hard to judge how good he is since the movie is sped up, Ive had longer games than him though back in the day on my gameboy, he got 140 lines or so by my count... of course the levels on this and gameboy/nes versions were different so it doesnt count much
