Kansas St. and Michigan go down... I feel bad for Michigan when the big ten season starts.

Why? The big 10 doesn't have a single top 10 caliber team.

Yeah, Joe Pa use to think that too, think about the same time he was predicting he was gonna come in and go undefeated and such. I think the polls disagree with ya also.

Ya, you are wrong.

Ohio State (4)- they are a joke and will lose very soon. Should be ranked around 18-22 in country.

Iowa (14)- not bad.

Minnesota (24)- not bad.

Michigan (5)- Will drop out of top 10.

Wisconsin

M. State

Purdue

Indiana

Northwestern

Penn State

Illinois

Man, the Big 10 sure is loaded with powerhouse teams!

The Michigan/Oregon game was pretty flukey, but fun to watch nonetheless. Did either team want to kick correctly today? Jesus, they put the 'special' in special teams.

I said last week Michigan would probably lose a game they should normally win (like usual), and I see they got it out of the way very quickly. However, it's not like Oregon is a chump team either... they are top 25.

edit: I should also note that in Pac 10/Big 10 games, the hometeam wins about 80% of the time, so hardly an upset here.

That Michigan game was crazy. I can't believe how poor our kicking game is. We nearly came back to win, even making the on-side kick a reality, but navarre just couldn't deliver on the last possession. A valiant attempt, but we showed up to the game just a bit too late.

Ohio State. Yet another narrow victory over an unranked team. When will their luck run out?

Michigan State - Notre Dame. Laughable in the beginning... resorting to field goals and bugged by turn overs... both teams need serious work.

Notre Dame is easily the most overrated team this year, they're getting destroyed everywhere. Just like Michigan State last year... enter the season in the top 5 and then lose, lose, lose.

Ohio State with another win.

It burns people they don't win big, they have already beaten 2 ranked teams so its not like they are uber shit like everyone says.

Win big or win small, its still a W in the column. More than Michigan can say today.

Big win for Marshall over K. State, my buddies who go to Marshall said theres major parties going on so I am gonna head out in an hour or so and go hit some up.

Well, ya gotta forgive Clev, hes upset cause half of his prediction has already gone to shit. He said Texas and OK would be the top two teams this year.....Well that and that the big 12 is pretty craptastic too.

Ya my texas prediction may have been off.

Right now the best teams look like OK and USC.

Big 12 isn't great, but they are WAY WAY better than Big 10.

Oklahoma (1)
K State (6)- Will drop to mid teens
Texas (13)- Will finish top 10, lost to a very solid ark team.
Neberaska (15)- Overrated
Texas AM (20)

Colorado, OSU, Tech are all not bad.

You cannot Big 12 and Big 10. To do so would be like comparing D1 to D2.

No conference even comes close to the SEC.

So I guess (18)Arkansas is solid but (22)Oregon sucks?

Jesus, if you're gonna be homer, please don't be so obvious.

And Oklahoma hasn't done much this year aside from running up the score on 3 habitually lesser schools and defeating Alabama, which is having all sorts of trouble this year (lost to Northern Illinois today lol).

Big 10 is still just as solid. Ohio, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan will still be ranked, and don't look now but Wisconsin and Michigan State may make it back too.

Ya, read what I said in my previous post about my texas prediction...

Not saying Oklahoma has done anything great, yet, but they are still one of my favorites this year.

Arkanas is way better than oregon.

Michigan and Iowa are the only two competitive teams in the Big 10.

come sundays polls (9/21) which conferences will represent in the Top 25?

Big 10...6 i'm guessing. (osu, Iowa, Michigan, minnesota, wisconsin, purdue)

Big 12...5 i'm guessing. (Oklahoma, k-state, Texas, nebraska, missouri)

SEC......5 i'm guessing. (Lsu, Tennessee, georgia, arkansas, florida)

Pac 10...5 i'm guessing. (Usc, oregon, washington, wsu, asu)

quite frankly anyone can argue for any of the above conferences. they all have a couple top notch teams. my opinion is the 7 teams i capped are Top 10 caliber. (other 3 from other conferences)

until bowl season comes around again though, nobody can argue that the Big 10 isn't the best. sorry, when you have the crown, its yours to wear all year until someone takes it from you.

Still don't know what you've got against Oregon, Clev. 2 years removed from an 11-1 season, and the game they lost was by a touchdown. It's a good football program, certainly nowhere near way worse than Arkansas.

Also, scummy shit like this http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=232630201 doesn't fly in the Big 10. If the score gets out of hand, it's done with 3rd stringers. Oklahoma just runs it up to look good.

The University of Kansas is better than Kansas State! It's the home of the beautiful Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics, a state of the art facility.
