it's really weapon dependant but for the most part you're going to want stopping power on all of them. for your second perk i suggest martyrdom. most people expect it nowadays but you can still pick people off with it.

is that the one you get to shoot after you die for like 10 seconds?
i suck so bad at this game, i am used to halo, and i tried this one night and i think i might have gotten 3 kills in 4 hrs, and i'm sure those were by accident

imo its all up 2 things
1) the map ur playing in 2) which game ur gonna go for + ur playing style
also it depends what wep ur using... eg. using an mp5 sub machine gun with iron lungs is pretty much useless
i`ve been playing cod4 on ps3 since december now,
i think so far
M16 ( the 3 shot burst assult rifle armed with a red dot  ) + 3 frags + stopping power (increases bullet dmg) is ace the 3rd perk is pretty much up to ur playing style although i usually go for deep impact (bullets go tru wallz etc)
otherwise for a hardcore SnD i`d go for mp5 + silencer + claymore + uav jammer + dead silence (ninja style pewpew)

it pretty much depends on what gun you use.. and how good you are with it  .. if you suck with a sniper you might as well use stopping power.. since you ccant get headshots.. but if your good with it overkill is the shit.. you can have to awesome weapons and it seems to dominate very well

I like running m16 with 3 frags, stopping power, and martydom. usually runnin with a red dot on ths gun
