So have you watched it? I thought it was awesome rollercoaster ride to hell It's definitely one of the most intense movies I've ever seen! Won't go into details, you have to see it for yourself.
The only thing you can b***h about is shaky camera, if you hated Blair Witch Project this movie might not be for you. Well I loved the trick with that camera, they didn't want to show you everything, no no, it's a bit tricky and smart as hell at the same time
Go watch Cloverfield, NOW! And remember to go to the cinema with good sound. So it can blow you away haha (I was literally smashed in my seat in the very first scene of the movie, because of THAT sound)
Seriously, you HAVE to see this movie

After reading the book, I honestly looked forward to seeing the movie when it was first announced. Then, as the trailers and such began coming out, I was disgusted at how they portrayed some of the characters and never saw it. One of my friends saw it for me... he wanted his money for the movie and hospital bills back.

I also heard that it was bad. You only see the monster like 3 times during the entire movie. The storyline is pretty undeveloped as you aren't sure why or what the monster is doing in NY.

I liked the style of the movie, it was pretty much end of the world via aliens shot blair witch project style.
But as for the movie content, I dont think it really did it's job though. It was kinda weird.

I thought it was awsome until the last, say, 20 minutes. I loved the way they filmed it. I hated the ending. I hated that they didn't tell you anything about what was going on. I guess that made it seem more realistic. They just had that lame ending so that they could make a 2nd movie and everyone would flock to see it. I also didn't like how, despite the odds, he gets the girl. Only to get blown the f*** up.

Yes, the movie is worth renting for like $3, but it was not worth the $10 you pay for at the movi theather

cloverfield was really good, one of the best i've seen in a while.
there's a lot of p*****s saying that the camera shaked too much but thats what the entire movie is based upon, its a recovered tape used for research purposes. if you were in that situation you wouldnt have steady pans and tilts

For as sick as the movie made me and my fiance *damn camera*, I thought is was a pretty damn good movie. Everyone I know though hates it.
