well, it gets you into the 5 day closed stress test, then your account and characters roll over into the open beta, and they're considering not wiping the characters from open when they release retail. =P

Just read the wow.com/fileplanet stuff and you'll notice it is 5-7 days. Could be longer knowing how they give into the stupid 10 year old f***s who complain.

Yes, you can get for 7.90 for a 1 month subscription, on that one subscription page there should be 3 options: a yearly, a quarterly, and a monthly subscription plan.

I'd brag about how my download is already done (It has been for about 30 minutes or so), but since the servers still aren't up it's a bit pointless =( Plus bragging isn't nice. I was getting 10083 KB/sec or so off the teamice.org BT, it was quite nice. I'm having some issues with the files that were DL'd however because it appears to be using my old .WTF config files (not sure if it's supposed to or if I was supposed to delete my old client prior to DL).

at the rate my download is going.. i will see you guys in-game on friday maybe D: as usual blizzards downloader has unreliable speeds, and as usual bittorrent sucks up all my upload bandwidth but only uses 1/3 of the upload bandwidth.. and considering i dl/ul at 16k/s.. it's going to take f*****g ages

Kiwiiiiiiiiiii. Follow my directions, it *should* work since you sort of know Rombus in game. I'm assuming he's only granting access to those in our guild and his alliance guild and his team ice channel from Triton during EQ  Bort finished his in 1.5 hours, I forgot where he got his BT though, I'll see if I can find out later for you.

I got an email about my beta key after i found my beta key in the archive of my account at fileplanet. If you got an email saying thanks for your 7.90 then you should be able to check your account again and see if it has your subscription up, then you can sign up to be put on the waiting list for a beta key. My best advice is go get breakfast and come back and try again

I read somewhere that closed beta chars are being caried over into the open beta, so if open beta chars are going live that'd mean all the closed beta people will be lvl 50 on release! That really oughta make the pvp server fun

Yeah I got my confirmed 7.90 email.
Last night.
I signed up for the beta last night, nothing.
Signed up again twice today to make sure... Still nothing in the beta archive, and no emails.
