I want to know more about classes in Age of Conan. Specifically I need to know if there are classes that are race-specific, that is, they can be played just buy some races. And if there are some races that are more privileged, or all races are equal. Just being curious about the amount of political correctness.

There’s no 'political correctness' in Age of Conan. If you choose to be Cimmerian or Aquilonian race (let’s say it’s the ‘European’ races) you can choose from three different class-types, Warrior, priest or thief. However if you’d go for a Mage, you must be Stygian (which resemble ancient Egyptians). Similarly, Stygians can’t be warriors.
