Anyone see this?
Very good EP I recommend it.
Really explains his beliefs on grant / scholarships / special programs for minorities and why hes against them. Seems he believes that they're often seen as pity things and people will discredit what you worked hard for because you "only got it cause your black." Well thats pretty much what he said about it.
I sort of agree and I can really see it in terms of the times he was in where people would really think that (he says his Yale degree is worth 75 cents). I'm not so sure about now if someone would discredit your education because of the color of your skin.

Ouch. Thats a tough subject to talk about these days.
Unfortunatly, I did not see the program. However, I do understand what you're (and he) is saying about the scholarship programs. It's sad what America has come to be, well some aspects, people judge too fast and there are still many extremely racial people out there. Hopefully one day, just like Mr. King said, " I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
