Is this the main attraction of Second Life for you SLers out there? Chatting with friends and stuff, like on IRC except with a shiny GUI? Because I can't really see any other point to it all … It's a game without a goal. (I'm not taking under consideration people who like to pretend they're fox-headed prostitutes or whatever.)

And I fail to see the point to your post. Did you ask any non-rhetorical questions there, or were you just wasting time on bashing Second Life and making fun of the fury crowd (with very little humor, I might add)? No one's twisting your arm you to play SL, you know.
