Back in June I gave my old account (Haphasto) to a rl friend, since I thought I was quitting for good, almost right after I gave him the account he sold it to some kid he knows. He didn't ask for my permission, hell, he never even told me he sold it. I found out from another friend that he sold it. In October I started another account, and got a ranger to 63. About 2 to 3 weeks ago I got my old account back from this guy that I never actually sold it to. I did it by trying to get my SWG account reactivated. I didn't intentionally try and get the account back it's just when they gave me my SWG PW it was the same as my old EQ station names PW, since both accounts had the same station name, everytime I changed my SWG pw it would change the EQ one. So I decided i'd keep the account. The guy that used to have the account got in touch with me and wanted me to pay him 150k. I said "Ok, that's fine", since I was so caught up in the moment that I had my old char back. The more time that went by the more I realized I didn't want to pay him, since this was my account, I never actually sold it to him, and in all reality I payed for about $200 in expansions, and $400 through over two years of billing. He has has already threatened me by saying "You have one month to get me the money, if you don't the shit is going to hit the fan, and it's going to suck for you!". Even after hearing him say that I had no desire to pay him (duh). He snaps on me for selling MY rangers gear, that I earned, and buying MY necro gear with the money I got from MY rangers gear, instead of giving him the money I got from the gear. Now i'm getting constantly harassed for selling my stonewood bow that my ranger was using, and consant tells on "You getting the money? You getting the money?" Frankly im sick of it, i'm not going to spend MY EQ time getting money for this kid that I don't even know. So what I did was got my necro transfered to my rangers account, letting this kid go wild with his stupid monk that he leveled up. I'm getting totally off track. What I really wanted to know is, has anyone ever gotten a character transfered? If so how long did it take?[

Couple of days max, but I was original owner on both and no information had ever changed on either accout - address, billing, nothing. Current billing on both was identical as well. If any of the billing info is different, or any key information has ever changed, they may look into it more, and require you to prove you are the original owner of both accounts. This may be providing the CD keys, the answer to the secret question on the accoutn (pet name, etc) or the last 6 digits of all credit cards used to pay for the account(s) in the past. Either way, you should be notified by email within 2 days. I sent my request on a Friday, toon was transferred on that Sunday.

because it's not just him harassing me, has has countless friends /t'ing me. He lives close, and I don't want my car vandalized or anything of the sort. I'm not sure what he meant by "If you don't pay me in a month the shit is going to hit the fan, and it's going to suck for you!"

Doesn't really matter anyway, if I transfer my necro atleast I wont have to get rid of my rangers account. Don't want to pay for two accounts.

also...be aware.....ANYone can log into the sony site....and look at names that have been changed from any server.. might be easier to lay low...and play an unknown alt...and bestow upon that, all your goodies goodluck!
