You, my man, are smart, and not many gamers are doing what you are thinking. You have successes where many have failed. You have asked for advice before you started to play the D&D Online. It is very smart decision. Very few people are doing that these days, so they always end up asking the dumb questions. In addition, finally to return to your question. Character classes are very important to this kind of games, as are all the choices, so you must study them very carefully. If you make a mistake in choosing a good character, you will be disappointed later. Nevertheless, I will not recommend you, which one to choose. You must do that for yourself. That way you will play DDO the best way possible.
