They said it wont be as demanding as other games. I would assume at the least you need a 2.0ghz Dual Core, 2gb RAM and a decent graphics card. Not exactly expensive, would cost around £400 for the parts atm, but then you'd need to upgrade motherboard, power supply etc.. so you can probably just buy a decent dual core and tweak it.

We are entering the next generation of gaming, so old models will become obselete and the standard computer requirements are being risen.

Well i meant pc gaming. Games like Crysis, AoC etc.. could be said to be next gen games with the wtflolownage graphics and power needed.

Conan just isn't tripping a single trigger for me ... I can't help but feel it will be a flash in the pan ... I may just be cynical, but it seems derivative in many ways, and the "shock/wow" factor seems like it will dissipate quickly ... I hope I'm wrong, but I must not be the target market - not a single thing I've seen has me interested in the slightest ...

Warhammer on the other hand ... that looks interesting indeed!

Like every other year since computers have been invented.

Also, I heard that the newest $4000 graphics card can't run Crysis on max video settings.

You talk about next gen consoles and PCs, but the technology has always been there, but just to expensive. They made a extremely expensive disc that can hold a couple of terrabytes, and BluRay is just taking off.

I'm pretty sure the nVidia Quadro FX 5600 runs Crysis on max settings/resolution. Not 100%, though.

Anyway, I'm SO looking forward to Age of Conan. I think Warhammer is basically going to be a bunch of OP Chaos Marauders running around and WoW + Siege battles.

Can you give me your opinion of Age of Conan?

If its fun or not and did it have the same "WOW!" as WoW had when you first played it. I loved WoW the first time because the music, graphics and gameplay were just awesome.

I disagree I feel that AoC will make a huge splash with the PvP gamers and the Guild gamers. I am in a guild over 150 people and we already have 80% of our members preordered. I have seen the beta and I know this game will rock face. This may not take a huge chunk for WoW's 10 million, but it will take some, you can be sure of that. It is a almost completely finished game. The leveling and quests are almost all working and the endgame is better than most I have seen at launch. As for WAR, the combat system is kinda dry at the moment, they will prolly fix it, but it doesn't look good atm, imo.

Warhammer looks awesome by what I've seen, I hope it's worth the wait. May try some Conan in the mean time though.

I dont think they're going to try to beat another game in sales. I don't think that is a game company's overall intent when they publish a game. It would be nice but not their primary intent.
