As far as I am informed about Final Fantasy this is a good player versus player game and there is some great role-playing. This is all great, but only for those that are into this kind of game playing. I am not one of those players I am afraid, and that is why I am interested in solo playing. Can you solo Final Fantasy XI?

I am a solo player myself and I am enjoying my Final Fantasy adventure as a solo player. I have heard that role players have so much more fun, but I think it is the same as when they say that blonds have more fun and then you look at jailed Hilton. Anyway I am satisfied with what this game has to offer solo players and I would recommend you to try it for yourself, because that is the only way you can see if something like this is for you or not. Solo playing is so great that I would recommend it to all other players that prefer player versus player or role playing.

you can solo anytime you want in this game. unfortunately, in order to lvl up its practically required that you pt. there are maybe 4-5 classes that are able to solo for xp. the other 15-16 jobs are forced to join a pt for maximum xp. waiting for a party can be the most frustrating thing in FF.
now in terms of missions/NMs certain classes solo better than others. most mage jobs are able to solo quite well. rdm, blm, blu all do very well. any job with pets can solo well, bst, smn, pup, even drg/mage. most jobs w/o a mana pool will have the hardest time soloing in this game.
