I just downloaded the Echoes of Faydwer trial version but can’t install it. I have a dual boot system Windows XP professional and Windows Vista ultimate (the latter came preinstalled with my new Dell). When trying to install, I get some messages about connection error (couldn’t connect to server etc). What seems to be a problem?

I didn’t understand you correctly – have you installed the game, but you are unable to connect? This might be because you are behind a router – you may have to open (forward) ports that are needed by the game. If you get the same messages in both systems, most likely it is a problem with your router. So, check if the ports are open.
