Want to buy some books, but can't find them on those two, and don't know where else to go that doesn't look shady or that won't spam the crap out of my email-addy.

Kafka's Metamorphasis was good. I started reading Dante's Divine Comedy but haven't picked it up in a while. There aren't any new books on there though, since the site contains only legal re-prints of books that are no longer copyright protected.
