So is it possible to be an evil race in this game? I know this question might sound stupid, as most games out there offer races which offer different selection and character development. But someone told me this so I just want to check this. Is there an evil-only race in EQ2.

Very stupid question, indeed. Of course there is an evil race in the game, as a matter of fact there are a few races that you can be evil. Darkelf, Iksar, Ogre, Troll, Ratogna, These are evil-only races. There are some other races which can be good, or evil, and some of them neutral.
