I just reformatted my comp and im re-installing my games.
I installed CS/CZ (CounterStike:Condition Zero) and it keeps freezing everytime I join a server and it starts Precaching resources. Everything else loads up fine but I can't seem to fix the problem. I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del to get back to my desktop everytime. I tried messing around with the resolution. I switching from Open GL to software and still no effect.
The thing is, is this happened last time I reformatted and somehow I fixed it but I swear I can't remember for the life of me how I did it.
help!

I doubt it, but do you happen to have Zone Alarm? Maybe since you reformatted, and if you got Zone Alarm, you have to check it to allow server access.
just a thought.

negative. Things got even more weird as the night progressed. I actually joined a server but my settings were all weird. I reset everything and rebooted. I join the same server without any problem but thats the only server that doesnt crash. I dunno what the heck is going on. Usually I can fix problems on my comp but this problem just has no pattern whatsoever.
