I am not entirely sure how the guest pass thing works, but all legitimate CSS owners now have a guest pass (only 1) to give to anyone they wish.
This lets anybody who does not own a legal copy of the game download and play as if they did for a limited period of time (probably 10 or 20 days or something). For the person that receives the pass, they need to pay nothing. Only download and install Steam, and download the game to play.
If you have a guest pass to give out (I know Jordan and I do, at least) please post here. If you want a guest pass, also please post and when you have the time to actually play the game let us know the dates. I think we can send them out any time before may 9th, so please wait to receive it until you can actually spend some time playing to see if you want to play over the summer or not.
This is a great way for people who have never played before or very inexperienced players to get used to the game and see if they want to buy it with no risk or money involved. This also is totally separate from the cracked Counterstrike client, and is perfectly 100% legal. So if you are worried about obtaining a cracked version this is a great way to try the game.
